Patna : According to information received from sources, the Jharkhand Joint Civil Services Examination Rules, 2021 has been approved by the Government of Jharkhand. A calender has also been issued on the basis of the new rules that says that the appointment will be made on the basis of this exam.
In this manual, the educational qualification and age limit for the examination for 15 services has been kept same. Now 15 times more candidates will be selected for the main examination from the post in PT examination. In the rules, the cut-off marks in the unreserved quota will be kept at a minimum of eight percent for SC, ST and OBC candidates of reserved category. Sources said that since 1951 rules in the state, Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) was conducting examinations. This old rule was amended from time to time by taking resolutions. A three-member committee was formed to prepare the rules, consisting of the Development Commissioner, Finance Secretary and Personnel Secretary. Based on the suggestion of this committee, this manual has been made. Sources also said that a provision has been made in the rules that if a candidate of unreserved category is not getting the service of his choice, then he can be migrated from unreserved to reserve if he wants to avail the facility of reserved category, so that They could get the preferred service. For this, if the reserved class candidates score equal to or above the cutoff of the unreserved category, then they will be considered in the unreserved category, but they will have the option to return to the reserved category
