The film festival is being organized for the first time in the history of Bettiah. The daughter of Bettiah , Richa Sharma has raised the flag of Bihar in America in the field of film. In such a situation, it is a commendable effort to connect the filmmakers of the country and abroad with Bettiah. The Bettiah International Film Festival will be organized in Patna. Due to the havoc of Corona, the film festival will be held in both virtual and actual modes. Richa Sharma is the Director of the festival and Rahul Verma is the programming head of the festival. Richa, as director, says that in view of the havoc of Corona, the festival is being organized by following all the protocols of Covid 19. Limited number of people will be allowed in the festival. Films from thirty states have been a part of this festival. With this, filmmakers from 20 countries are connected through the festival. The festival will be held on 24 December. A special award function will be held at the Arcade Business College Auditorium located at Saguna Mor, Patna. This festival will mark the presence of filmmakers from every state, as well as those who could not reach Bihar, they can be a part of the Program virtually. Anand sir of Super 30 will be the chief guest of the program .As director, Richa Sharma said that Anand Sir and DG Trainer” Alok Raj of Super-30 will attend the event as the chief guest. Along with this, well-known faces associated with the film will also be seen in this festival. The objective of the festival is to increase the trend of films among the people of Bihar and to introduce the filmmakers of other states to the culture of Bihar. The sponsors of the festival are Prince Raj, Arun Kumar Soni, Rajneesh Kumar and Shilbhadra Harshvardhan. There are different jury members for every language film in this festival.The Film celebrities, Film critics from different languages have been included in the Jury panel for selection of films coming from different states. The jury board has several prominent faces along with Sneh Upadhyay, Manoj Bhawuk and Dr. Kumar Vimalendu.
