Patna: 06 February 2023 :: E- Summit 23, a flagship annual event of IIT Patna, got off to an enlightening start on 3rd February 2023. After a spectacular inaugural ceremony, IIT Patna witnessed a massive buzz on the Second day and 3rd day of E- Summit 23, packed with many exciting and insightful events. It marked the beginning of a journey that brought together the brightest minds in the industry on one platform to discuss the latest trends, technologies, and strategies for success.

The scavenger event saw students looking for clues and completing tasks around the campus. Since the program was time based, people were seen running around the campus to get the first item in solving the clues with great enthusiasm to proceed.
After the successful completion of the Scavenger Hunt, There was an inspiring lecture by Kunal Shah, a renowned entrepreneur and Co -Founder of Moi, on ‘Entrepreneurship and Innovation. He emphasised taking risks and pushing ourselves to the limits. He gave a helpful insight that if your start -up is not solving any prevailing problems, then your startup is not a start-up. He talked about the importance of digital platforms especially instagram for building good customers.
The event Advertise Your Way, in collaboration with Yavanika, The Dramatics Club of IIT Patna was held. Advertising is an essential part of any successful business. It can help you reach new customers, increase brand awareness, and boost sales. It was an event that challenged participants to creatively and effectively sell or pitch a product through acting or storytelling. Participants came up with a skit and commercial based on a specific theme, incorporating their product into the storyline.
An innovation quiz event checked the knowledge of creative minds in the business world and technology. The whole senate hall got cheered up with the vigour of the participants during the quiz. Some people came in teams, and some played solo.
The Scale- Up Hackathon held with the objective to focus on uplifting early career businesses and ventures! Participants were given a 5- hr period, after the release of the problem statement, to submit a proposal of the solution they intend to create.
The third and final day of eSummit ’23 saw an array of exciting events that took the participants and attendees on a roller-coaster of innovation and creativity. The day was kicked off with the highly anticipated Pitch it Up competition, where aspiring entrepreneurs had the chance to present their business ideas to a panel of judges, including investors and industry experts.
In the afternoon, attendees had the opportunity to participate in the Executive Desk event, where teams were tasked with creating a mock CEO team, complete with a detailed business plan. The day also saw the launch of the UI/UX Hackathon, where participants were challenged to develop innovative solutions to improve user experience and interface design.
To cap off the day, an animation workshop was held, where participants learned the basics of animation and got hands-on experience in creating their own animations.
eSummit was a resounding success with over 2000 participants from across the country in both virtual and physical ways. The online mode saw participation from states such as Maharashtra, West Bengal, Jharkhand Karnataka, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan. Meanwhile, the offline mode attracted participants from local colleges in and around Patna. The event was a testament to the passion and drive of young entrepreneurs and innovators.
Overall, the eSummit ’23 was a huge success, and attendees were treated to a wide range of events that allowed them to explore their interests and develop new skills. The energy and enthusiasm of the participants was palpable, and it was evident that eSummit ’23 was well on its way to becoming one of the premier events in the innovation and entrepreneurship space.
