Gujarat: 12 March 2025 :: Inauguration of Mithila Bhavan on March 9th was a pride moment beyond words for Mithila & Maithili Community. Where Bharatnatyam performed by Manisha Jha. She said that “this landmark really stands as a testament to the pride, unity, and cultural resurgence of the Maithili community.”

She said, “A Moment of Pride at Performing the opening Bharatnatyam recital at the inauguration of Mithila Bhavan on March 9th was an experience beyond words.”

The occasion was graced by Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, whose words resonated deeply. Amit Shah’s speech highlighted Bihar and the Mithila region’s invaluable contributions to India’s spiritual and cultural fabric, while Bhupendra Patel reaffirmed the government’s commitment to nurturing such cultural endeavors.

A special tribute to Raj Kishor Jha, the visionary founder of Saswati Mithila, whose dedication turned this dream into reality. His relentless efforts in promoting Maithili culture deserve immense appreciation.

Manisha Jha said, “It was truly humbling to receive encouragement from esteemed dignitaries like Shivanand Jha Sir (Ex DGP Gujarat & Retd. IPS), Sanjay Kumar Jha (MP, Rajya Sabha), Brijesh Jha (IPS), and Prabhat Jha. Their kind words reaffirmed my commitment to the arts and Bharatnatyam’s role in preserving cultural heritage.”
