Bhubaneswar: 14 July 2024 :: XIM Bhubaneswar (XIMB) and Marwari Yuva Manch Lead the Way. The Social Responsibility Cell of XIM Bhubaneswar (XIMB), in collaboration with Marwari Yuva Manch, Bhubaneswar, successfully organized the third edition of its Blood Donation Drive on July 14, 2024. The event witnessed an overwhelming response from students, faculty, and staff members, who came forward to contribute to this noble cause.
The drive aimed to raise awareness about the critical need for blood donations and encourage voluntary blood donation among the community. The collected blood units were generously donated to the BMC (Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation) Blood Bank to cater to patients in need.
To express gratitude and appreciation for the donors’ selfless act, refreshments (food packets) and certificates were provided to all participants post- donation.
The overwhelming turnout at the Blood Donation Drive 3.0 is a testament to the growing awareness about the importance of blood donation among the youth and the community at large. The event provided a platform for individuals to actively participate in saving lives and fostering a sense of social responsibility.
