Patna: 1 February 2024 :: IIT Patna successfully concluded a Press Conference on February 1, 2024, introducing the details of the 13th edition of Anwesha. The distinguished speakers at the briefing included IIT Patna’s Director Prof T N Singh, A Dean Student Affairs Dr. P.K. Tiwari, PIC Cultural Dr Bachu Anil Kumar, Training and Placement Officer, Kripa Shankar Singh and Anwesha’s Coordinators. Team Anwesha provided an informative presentation, elucidating all about Anwesha 2024, further enhancing the understanding of the upcoming cultural extravaganza.
At the outset of Press Conference Kripa Shankar Singh welcome the representatives of Print and Electronics Media and then in the briefing, the Director emphasized that IIT is not merely an institution for education and academics but is also capable of hosting cultural activities and festivals. He commended the student community for their dedicated efforts in organizing such a large-scale fest. Furthermore, he encouraged students to draw inspiration from the vibrant fest, urging them to work hard academically for the opportunity to study at prestigious institutions like IITs.

On Day 1, February 2, 2024, the festival kicks off with a captivating Cultural Night, setting the stage ablaze with enchanting KAWWALI by the Niyazi Brothers and the dynamic PURULIA CHHAU performance by Tarapada Rajak and Team.
Day 2, February 3, 2024, promises to electrify the atmosphere with an EDM Night, ensuring a pulsating night of pure celebration. The grand finale on Day 3, February 4, 2024, unfolds into the much -anticipated Bollywood Night, featuring the esteemed Amit Trivedi and promising soul-stirring melodies that are sure to leave an indelible mark.
