Patna: 25 Dec 2023:: Technical knowledge and scientific skills are pivotal for the future development of students. In this dynamic era, combining education with entrepreneurial training is essential for India to become a leading nation. These insightful remarks were made by Professor T.N. Singh, the Director of IIT Patna while addressing students at the Campus Immersion and Freshers’ Party Spandan 2023.
The ongoing Campus Immersion program at IIT Patna, from December 19 to December 30, features sports events such as cricket, volleyball, football, racing, and badminton, along with the organization of the first semester exams. Exceptional performances by all participating students are being acknowledged. In this sequence, a cultural program named Spandan on December 24 has been organized. Today’s event has been a memorable evening for all students.
Awards were presented to Mr. and Miss Freshers during this event.
Over 1000 students from approximately 28 different states across the country are actively participating in this Campus Immersion program.
The chief guest for Spandan 2023 was Professor T.N. Singh, Director of the Indian Institute of Technology. Other dignitaries present included Professor A.K. Thakur, Associate Dean Dr Nutan Tomar, Associated Dean Resources Dr Asif Iqbal, Dean Dr Anup Keshari, Head of Computer Science Engineering Dr Rajiv Mishra, Head of Sports Dr Kuldeep Singh Patel, and Secretary of the Microtek Group Neeraj Rajhans, along with several senior officers, professors, staff, and nearly all students of the hybrid program from IIT Patna.
