Patna: 21 December, 2022 :: After a gap of two years, this year the “Inter IIT Staff Sports Meet” to be held between various Indian Institutes of Technology of the country is being organized on 24 -29 December 2022 at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi.
A 53- member contingent along with 9 officials and coaches from Indian Institute of Technology Patna for the 27th Inter IIT Staff Sports Meet will leave for New Delhi on 21 and 22 December 2022 to participate in the six-day sports meet.
In this sports meet, the Indian Institute of Technology Patna team will participate in various indoor and outdoor games including cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, badminton, and athletics.
Prof. T. N. Singh, Director, IIT Patna met the participants before the departure of the team today and wished all the team members and said that sports inspire us to live life in the right way. Also sports are a reflection of self confidence, discipline and team spirit. Many professors, officers and employees of IIT Patna were present on this occasion to express good wishes to the participating team.
