Patna: 23 November 2022 :: IIT Patna, This is to inform you that the 9th convocation of the institute will be held on 7th December 2022 in the IIT Patna campus.
The Chief Guest for the event will be Jalaj A. Dani, Member of National Skill Development Agency and Chairman at Addverb Technologies Private Limited. He is the Co-promoter of Asian Paints and also serves as the Chairman in the Board of Governors of IIM TIRUCHIRAPPALLI.
The Guest of Honour for the event will be Dr. G Satheesh Reddy, Secretary, Department of Defence R&D, Govt of India. He is also the Scientific Advisor to Raksha Mantri, Govt. of India.
The convocation will be held in the Morning session. B.Tech., M. Tech., and PhD degrees will be awarded to more than 500 ex-IIT Patna students.
The degree recipients must fill a convocation registration form by 25 November. Rehearsal of the convocation is scheduled on 6th Dec 2022. Attendance is mandatory for all those who wish to receive their respective degree/medal in person. The accommodation for students will be provided in Hostels only (subject to availability). The accommodation for parents/guardians will be provided in Guest Houses (Subject to availability). The attendees should strictly adhere to the dress code.
Dress code:
Boys: Knee Length White Kurta and White Pajama
Girls : Option 1: Knee Length White Cotton Straight Kurta and White Chudidar
Option 2: White cotton Saree with golden thin border
Details of toppers and medal/prize winners will be shared/announced on the day of convocation.
