Prayagraj: 26 July, 2022:: Jharkhand and Bihar Sub Area celebrated the immense sacrifices of Indian Army braves on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas at Danapur and Patna with solemn wreaths being laid in their eternal memories of the braves by the Station Commander, Brig RK Sharma, SC, SM at Kargil War Memorial, Kargil Chowk, and Patna. DM, Patna was also in attendance.
The Kargil War Memorial was decorated with flowers and rose petals. Entire gathering consisting of 250 uniformed personnel, dignitiories and attendees were flooded with memories of Kargil War and heroies of Indian Armed forces during the war. Veterans present on the occasion cherished the glory of overcoming a situation of disadvantage and winning the war with pride.
Kargil Vijay Diwas was celebrated with solemn ceremonial events at Ramgarh and Ranchi. Floral wreaths were laid by the Station Commanders, Brig S K Sati at Ramgarh War Memorial and by Brig Nayyar, Dy GOC, 23 Inf Div at Jharkhand War Memorial, Ranchi. Wreaths were laid at OTA War Memorial by Brig D S Basera, VSM Stn Cdr. All rank attended the ceremony.
