New Delhi, 5 April 2021:: Delhi Olympic Games 2021, in the event of Kurash organised by Delhi Olympic Association in collaboration with Kurash Association of Delhi held at Indira Gandhi College of Physical Education, Vikas Puri, New Delhi opened by P. K. Tripathi Chief Patron, Umesh Tyagi President KAI and Vinay Lal Singh General Secretary Kurash Association of India.
In the first day of Delhi Olympic Games 2021 in Kurash event around about 400 players were participated in different clubs, schools and colleges were participated in Sub Junior, Cadet and Junior age groups. In the weight category of below 25 kg Ansika got 1st, Tamana 2nd, Kavya & Kashish 3rd Position, 35 kg Kanishka got 1st, Bhoomi 2nd, Palak Sharma & Riya Khoiya 3rd , 40 kg Priyanshi got 1st, Garima 2nd, Anjali & Payal 3rd, -44 kg Shagun got 1st, Kritika 2nd, Rani & Bhawna 3rd and above +44 kg Prachi got 1st, Sofia 2nd, Disha Vats & Arpita 3rd position confirmed by Chander Pal Saini Technical Chairman of Kurash Association of India.
In closing of first day competition the member of Kurash Association of India and Kurash Association of Delhi thanks to Sh. Kuldeep Vats, President Delhi Olympic Association and Vice President of Indian Olympic Association.
