Patna: The IPS couple of Bihar Ashish Bharti of Nalanda and Swapna Meshram of Maharashtra who are currently serving in Bihar cadre is doing a commendable job in controlling the crime rate of Bihar. Looking at the good work done by the IPS couple , the Bihar Goverment have transferred both of them in the same place, so that they together can work nicely and can also motivate each other and other people. On the last day of the year 2020, a large number of IPS & IAS were transferred in Bihar. Late on 31st December, 38 IPS and 29 IAS officers were removed from here by the Nitish government. The transfer-posting that has taken place this time includes the names of many such officers, who remain the subject of discussion. The government has sent the IPS couple to the same district once again.
Among the 38 IPS officers transferred late Thursday night, the name of Bhagalpur SSP Ashish Bharti and Navagachia SP Swapna Ji Meshram are also included. Both these officers were currently posted in Bhagalpur district, who have been transferred again to the same district. From SSP , Ashish Bharti has been made the SP of Rohtas and his wife Swapna G. Meshram has been made the Commandant of Women Battalion and BMP-2 in the same, Rohtas district. Ashish Bharti, a 2011 batch IPS, is originally from Nalanda, home district of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Ashish is a resident of Parwalpur May in Nalanda district. He is married to Swapna ji Meshram, an IPS officer from Maharashtra.
The Recruitment of SSP Ashish Bharti is considered a good step for the department. In the view of his success, the Bihar government transferred him to Bhagalpur district. 4 years ago, Ashish Bharti was made SP of Munger district, where he did a commendable work.
Ashish Bharti is known for his strict policing work. He is well versed in his profession , his tricks and logic help the police to reach out to the criminals as fast as possible. He has got various promotions in his department due to his commendable work.
There have been various instances where both of them have been transferred to the same place.
In July, Nitish Government transferred Swapna ji Meshram. She was made SP of Navagachia in Bhagalpur district, where his husband was already posted in the post of SSP. Swapna ji Meshram was the SP of Special Branch in Patna, who was transferred and made the SP of Navgachiya. Ashish Bharti, once the SP of Munger district, was transferred with promotion to Bhagalpur. Ashish Bharti, who was working as Munger Superintendent of Police in 2018, was promoted 2 years ago to become the preferred Superintendent of Police of Bhagalpur. He has previously held the post of SP in Madhepura and Munger. When Ashish Bharti was SP in Munger, his wife was also made SP of Banka, a district immediately adjacent to Munger.
This way both husband and wife is getting transferred continusly by Bihar government at same places and they are also working in a lawful manner.
