Patna: In order to make the adminstration more efficient , the state government of Bihar has decided to retire inefficient employees over 50 years., by looking and evaluating at their performance and skill level.
A screening will be done every year in the month of June and July to evaluate the work and performance of the employees , after the completion of the process ,the ones who are found incapable and inefficient as per the criteria set by the government ,will be removed under the ‘compulsory retirement”.
It is quite evident fact that the state government is facing the problem of less number of permanent employees working in any of the sector of the state. According to government employees ,this decision will only promote “Yes Sir ” (ji Hazoori) attitude among employees and there will be decrease in the efficiency of the work.
If we minutely observe , we will find out that ,from Panchyats to Parliamentary houses, the ministers or politicians who work are mostly above the age of 50. Their work and decisions determines the development of our country.
This system can be regarded as a good system ,if it is also implemented on the ministers and politicians .There should be an age limit as a criteria to be a politician and minister in our country along with that, the NPS(National Pension Scheme ) should be implemented .The ones who wants to become a minister of law and order , it should be made compulsory to have a law degree, for Health minister a degree of MBBS ,for welfare minister a degree in sociology , for Human Resource Development minster a degree in MEd and to become a Finance Minister , a degree in Economics should be made compulsory to be eligible to become a minister . Then we will get to see a different scenario altogether in our country and and on that day ,we can proudly say that the development have taken place in a holistic way in India.
